Kristian Alfonso began her career as a figure skater, winning gold at the Junior Olympic Figure Skating Championships. Her skating career was cut short due to a tobogganing accident, so she turned to model. Alfonso had appeared in over 30 magazines by the age of 15, including the popular Vogue. Then, in 1981, she co-starred with Rock Hudson in the television film ‘The Starmaker.’ Two years later, she was cast as Hope Williams in the drama ‘Days of Our Lives.’ She left the show in 1987 to play Pilar Ortega in the final two seasons of the soap opera ‘Falcon Crest.’ Alfonso did, however, make a brief return to ‘Days of Our Lives from April to July 1990.
