Barbara Bosson was born on November 1st, 1939. She is an American actress who has starred on television and in films. Barbara Bosson is the ex spouse of late director/producer Steven Bochco. She was his second wife and they had two children together. She was brought up in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania which is a small coal-mining town about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh. When she was just a teenager, she along with her family had moved to Florida, where she enrolled at the Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport. After completing her graduation, she was accepted into the Drama Department of Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh. When Bosson learned the tuition fees would be too high for her parents to pay for, she instead moved to New York where she supported herself in several jobs like that of a secretary, television production assistant, Playboy Bunny, etc. Bosson was born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. Her father was a tennis coach. Barbara’s first feature film was the crime thriller ‘Bullitt’ released in 1968. Bosson is well known for her roles in the 1980’s NBC television series, ‘Hill Street Blues’ in the role of the vulnerable Fay Furillo during the series’ first six seasons. She later went on to portray a tough prosecutor, Miriam Grasso on the series, ‘Murder One’ aired from 1995 to 1997. ‘Murder One’ also earned her an Emmy Award nomination.
