Irene Schouten is a Dutch speed skater who competes in all-round, marathon, and inline-skating events. Schouten won gold in the mass start at the 2015 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships. She most recently competed at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang South Korea and won the bronze medal. Irene Schouten competed in inline skating and won a gold medal at the 2012 World Inline Skating Championships. She also won the inaugural women’s mass start event at the 2013 Dutch National Championships.
