Melissa Bachman was born in the year 1984. She was raised in the town of Paynesville in Minnesota. Her parents Dale and Karen Bachman were also hunters. Melissa used to accompany her parents on their hunting trips since she was 5 years of age.
She used to do pushups for more than a year in order to develop and strengthen her muscles so that she could pull her 18 kg bow. She started hunting when she was 12 years old.
Melissa Bachman would hunt with them in the morning and then attend school at 10 am. She was at Paynesville High School. She was good at sports at school. She participated in the pole vault while at school and set her own records at school for the game. That was not all. She was also the student representative to the Chamber of Commerce Board and had won an Outstanding Young Person Award. She played saxophone well and was part of the marching bands. She was also the homecoming queen.
Melissa Bachman had held the post of a school treasurer of the student council, member of the National Honor Society, and captain of the track and speech teams. She was also a lector in her Catholic Church. She had made her Girl Scout group interact with the elderly in the community and for this had received the Girl Scouts Gold Award. Her school achievements are endless.
In 2002, she graduated from this school magna cum laude. She then registered with the St Cloud State University and graduated with a double major in Spanish and Broadcast Journalism.
Melissa Bachman’s career
Melissa Bachman graduated in 2006 and applied for jobs at several places. She then took up an unpaid internship with a North America Media Group ‘North American Hunter TV in Minnetonka. She also worked as a waitress at a nightclub. Luckily 4 months later she got hired as a full-time producer for the show, beginning her professional career. She also did some on-camera work and offered training tips on archery for free.
In 2010, Melissa Bachman formed her own production Company called Deadly Passion Productions. She did her own editing and post-production work. She also wrote magazine articles, created online videos and gave instructional lectures.
On a New Zealand trip, she killed a red stag with her bow and set a record. This was aired on her show. Her hunting campaigns were then caught on camera and aired to the viewers. She uses bow, shotgun, and rifles to kill the wild animals.
Her hunting of animals has always remained a controversial issue. In 2013, she had killed a lion in South Africa and posed before it in a photograph on her social media. This had also attracted a lot of criticism and hate. She, however, refused to comment on this issue. She had also said that she cannot think of life outside the TV shows.

Melissa Bachman is not married. She has no husband or children. She is not said to be dating anyone. It is not known whether she had any boyfriends in the past.
