LeBron James is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Among all the basketball players, he is considered one of the best basketball players. The famous player has a new interest- he is also a voice actor. He has lent his voice in the upcoming animated movie Smallfoot where he is a yeti called Gwangi.

LeBron James was born at the end of the 1984 year, that is December 30, 1984. His birthplace is Akron, Ohio. James’s full name is LeBron Raymone James. His mother, Gloria Marie James was a teen mom, giving birth to LeBron at the age of 16. His father’s name is Anthony McClelland. Anthony was Gloria’s casual boyfriend and had an extensive criminal record. So obviously, Gloria was a single mother that raised her son herself.

Life was hard for mom Gloria and young LeBron as she had difficulty finding a steady job. They had to move from apartment to apartment due to this.

Gloria realized her son will have a better future with a more stable family. So she let the family of Frank Walker take LeBron in. Frank was a local football coach who also introduced 9-year-old JeBron to Basketball.

“Sports carried me away from being in a gang, or being associated with drugs. Sports was my way out.”

He is an educated fellow. He completed his high school from St. Vincent-St Mary which is located in his hometown. In school, he played in the school basketball team. He skipped college to become a pro-NBA player. Worked out well for him.

After a  successful career in basketball, he turned his head towards movies. He has appeared in TV series such as My wife and Kids (2009), Entourage (2009), SpongeBob’s Truth or Square (2009), The LeBrons (2011-2014), Survivor’s Remorse (2015) and Teen Titans Go! (2016).

He has also starred I movies More than a Game (2008), Square Roots: The Story of SpongeBob SquarePants (2009), Trainwreck (2015). In the 2018 animated movie Smallfoot, he has voiced the character Gwangia, a yeti in the Himalayas.

LeBron is a loverboy. He was in a relationship with Savannah Brinson, his high school sweetheart. After years of dating, he proposed to his long-term girlfriend on On January 1, 2012. Being a basketball player, he is quite tall, 6 feet 8 inches which gives an advantage in his game. His weight is known to be around 250 pounds.

As of 2016, the pro-NBA player’s net worth was  $275 million. His hard work and determination have paid off quite well. In the year 2016-2017, his annual salary was $31 million. That number makes him the third player to be paid such amount after  Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. His other endorsement includes Intel, Verizon, Coca-Cola, Beats by Dre, Blaze Pizza and Kia Motors.
