Michal Krcmar took up this sport at the age of 13 in Vrchlabi, Czech Republic. Krcmar started his sports career in ‘Biathlon Junior World Championships 2012’ for the silver ‘Junior Men’s relay’. Since his debut in ‘Biathlon Junior World Championships 2012’ he’s been competing regularly for ‘Biathlon World Cup’. Krcmar’s coaches are Ondrej Rybar and Michael Malek and his club name is ‘SKP Kornspitz Jablonec’. Krcmar has competed in many events throughout his career. In the ‘2018 Olympic Winter Games’, he finished second in the 10km sprint event and was filled with pride and joy for winning a silver medal. Krcmar has participated in the World Cup for 4 seasons and has yet to receive a Gold Medal but he’s on the move, and will hopefully emerge as a proud sports star. His most memorable moment was when he won third on the Podium at a ‘2017 World Cup’ Event for the first time in the 12.5km pursuit, at Ruhpolding. Germany.

Just a week before the ‘2013 World Championships’, he suffered from an illness in Nove Mesto Na Morave, Czech Republic which meant he was not available for selection in the mixed relay at the event.
