Maria was born as Maria Sara Bartiromo on 11 September 1967 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, the USA. Her present age is 50. Her parents are Italian-American and their names are Vincent and Josephine Bartiromo. She was primarily raised in the Dyker Heights part of Brooklyn.

Maria then joined Fox News Channel and she was a journalist here from 2014 to 2015. For less than one year in 2014-2015, Maria served as a journalist for USA Today. Maria took over as the anchor Global Markets Editor at the Fox News Network in February 2014 and is continuing on this post to date.
Maria has received several prestigious awards such as the Emmy and Gracie. She has done documentary coverage as well and for this too, she has bagged awards. She was also the first female journalist to be inducted in the Cable Hall of fame in 2011. Her name has been included and figured in several top ranking lists and she has authored several books on finance.
