Stryger Larsen made his debut for Brndby IF in November 2009, starting against FC Nordsjlland before being replaced by Jan Kristiansen after an hour. During his time at Brndby, he quickly became popular among Brndby supporters due to his energy, and he featured regularly in Brndby’s team at the end of the 2009–2010 season and at the start of the 2010–2011 season, keeping players like Sweden international Alexander Farnerud on the bench. He was named one of Denmark’s greatest talents by the Danish media in August 2010, and on September 23, Danish football magazine Tipsbladet reported interest in him from Serie A club Genoa.
Stryger Larsen signed a three-year contract with division rivals FC Nordsjlland on a free transfer on July 9, 2013.
