Jeff Franklin is known as the creator of the popular ABC’s TV series called Full House which was aired from 1988 to 1995. He has also done other sitcoms and was recently in news for some not-so-good incident.

Jeff Franklin is fired from Fuller House

Jeff was doing the writing and was the producer with Fuller House when he was fired. The wealthy executive producer of the show has been removed after there were complaints of his bad behavior. The main producers of the show are Warner Bros and they have made the decision to strike out Jeff from the show following reports of rude behavior.

WBTV released a brief statement in February 2018 after Jeff’s removal which read:

“We are not renewing Jeff Franklin’s production deal and he will no longer be working on Fuller House.”

There is growing intolerance in the entertainment industry to unprofessional behavior and Jeff was removed due to his bad behavior with his colleagues, cast, and subordinates. It is said that he was verbally abusive and used foul and filthy language in the writers’ room and on the sets of the show. He made inappropriate comments about his personal relationships and sex life and was also accused of bringing women he was dating to set and occasionally giving them bit roles on the show. This was not acceptable to the Warner Bros who then fired him.

Jeff and his career start

Jeff began his career journey by writing for Laverne and Shirley and Bosom Buddies. He was also the producer on these shows. Full House was Jeff’s idea and he had introduced the concept of three comics residing together to ABC. The channel at that time was looking out for a family series and hence Jeff added children to this original concept and Full House was born. It gained a lot of popularity for the channel and was quite renowned worldwide.

Jeff then went on to create another sitcom called Hangin’ out with Mr. Cooper. He also was part of other shows such as Malcolm and Eddie, It’s Gary Shandling’s show, and To Grandmother’s House, we go. He also wrote teen comedies such as Just One of the Guys and Summer School. He had started work on Fuller House and was forced to depart from it in February 2018. He has an enormous net worth of $ 180 million.

If we look at the bio of Jeff, we find that he was born in Inglewood, CA on 21 January 1955. His full name is Jeffrey Steven Franklin. He now resides at Beverly Hills, CA. He worked as a temporary substitute teacher in a school in his hometown before he took to writing. He began his career in 1976.
