JC Chasez is a highly talented person from the USA who has the skills of singing, dancing, and acting. He is a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor. His full name is Joshua Scott ‘JC’ Chasez. Going through his wiki, one finds that he was also serving as a Judge for the program America’s Best Dance Crew.

JC Chasez was born in Bowle, Maryland on 8 August 1976 and he was raised by adoptive parents. When he was 5, his biological mother gave him up to her foster parents Roy and Karen Chasez for care. The couple then legally adopted him and he thus took their surname. There is no detail available about his father. JC also has a younger brother called Tyler and a younger sister named Heather.

Schoolwise, JC was s student of Robert Goddard Middle School and then Bowie High School. Talking about the first musical instrument he learned to play, JC said:

“My mom got me a cheap Yamaha nylon-string guitar when I was, like, ten. My grandfather played piano, and we’d sit around the house singing songs — country music and church hymns. Nowadays I don’t run crazy-mad solos, but I can play tunes and write.”

JC Chasez breaks his shyness

JC was extremely shy in his childhood. His friend placed a bet for $ 20 for a talent show. JC got motivated to participate in the contest and surprisingly won it. He soon realized his love and talent for acting and singing.

In 1989, his mother Karen spotted an ad in Washington Times which announced auditions for Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club. He encouraged little JC to try it and after singing a song, he was cast in the fourth season of the program as a performer.

He continued to be on the show until its cancellation in 1996. He soon met other fellow singers and became friends with them.

He has written a song in 1994 and later also sang it. He along with other musicians made a band called NSYNC and he and Justin Timberlake were the lead singers on it. Formed in 1995, the group gained popularity in Europe. Their debut album was self-titled and sold more than 11 million copies.

After some legal troubles with their manager, the group signed with Jive Records. Their second album No Strings Attached was also a hit. Similarly, their third studio album Celebrity was released in 2001 and sold over 1.8 million copies. They toured in 2002 and then took a hiatus.

The band never disbanded but also did no more performances together except during the MTV awards in August 2013. JC then embarked on his solo career. He released remixes, singles, and albums. He began writing and producing songs. He released in 2004 his album called Schizophrenic.

JC also was Judge of America’s Best Dance Crew which aired on MTV. He was on the panel for all seasons from 2008 to 2012 when it was canceled. He featured in other music videos and also gave performances and did tours.

JC has a long dating history; some rumored and some true. Since August 2013, he is dating Kathryn Smith.

He was in relationships with Eva Longoria (2004), Emmanuelle Chriqui (2001 and 2002), Bobbie Thomas (1997 to 2001) and Nikki Deloach (1992 to 1997). He was also close to Stefani Morgan (2005) and Rachel Sterling (2003 to  2009). His rumored relationship was with Tara Reid in 2002.
