Jamie Lee Curtis is an American actress, author and blogger who is probably best known for her work on the horror movie series, Halloween. She has graced the horror world with several other appearances and earned the status of “Scream Queen”, thanks to her excellent work in this genre. Jamie Lee Curtis was born on November 22, 1958 in Santa Monica, California. Her parents, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, were both actors. She is of Hungarian, German, Scottish and Danish descent. Jamie Lee Curtis’s parents divorced in 1962. Her mother later married Robert Brandt and her father remarried several times. Because of this, Jamie Lee Curtis has a number of half-siblings, named Alexandra, Allegra, Benjamin, and Nicholas Curtis as well as an older sister named Kelly from her parent’s marriage. Jamie’s brother, Nicholas, died tragically of an overdose in 1994. For her education, Jamie Lee Curtis attended Westlake School in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills High School.
