Tahliah Debrett Barnett was born in 1988. She is professionally known as FKA Twigs. She is a renowned English singer, songwriter, director, record producer and dancer. FKA Twigs was brought up in Gloucestershire. She later moved to South London and became a backup dancer at the age of 17. Her extended plays EP1 in 2012 and EP2 in 2013 got her an entry into the music industry. She released her debut studio album, LP1 in 2014 which was well received. She was named as Twigs for the way her joints crack but when another artist named as The Twigs complained about the use of the same name, she added the initial FKA Twigs to her stage name.
