Ezra Mathew Miller was born in the year 1992 in Wyckoff New Jersey to Robert S Miller, a former Vice president for Hyperion books, and Marta Koch, who is a modern dancer. Ezra Miller describes himself as being spiritual and Jewish. He has two sisters Caitin and Saiya who are older than he is. To help him overcome his speech impediment, Miller started attending a training on therapy talking and later joined training as an opera singer, and went on to sing with the Metropolitan opera and ended up performing in the premiere of America in Philip Gasses’ Opera White Raven.
Miller attended a prestigious school, the Hudson, in his hometown of Hoboken, New Jersey. Later on, he dropped out of high school when he was 16 years of age to pursue acting.
Miller describes himself as ‘queer’, which means that Miller has a love for all genders and cannot point out which gender suits him best. This is after he acknowledged having a thing for boys when he was at the age of six.
