David Burt is a British actor who gained fame performing live in the many famous theaters in the UK. David is quite passionate about this fine arts and loves to act in the presence of a live audience. His life has revolved around the stage where he depicts real and imagined personalities and brings them to live on stage.

David Burt who was born in 1953 in Surrey, England, the UK does not have an exact date of birth mentioned about him in any of his Wikipedia or biography internet pages. He is the son of Pip Hinton who had portrayed a role in Crackerjack. His father had a twin brother and both brothers and their families used to reside in the same house in Surrey.
Most of them were actors or musicians. His father was a professional piano player in the variety circuit.
But the happiness did not last and there was the divorce of his parents. David was packed off to a boarding school He said:
“I was sent away to boarding school and that was my particular dark night of the soul, and that’s where I went through the rings of fire. I came out the other end and I thought I often wish I could go back to that state [before boarding school]. Maybe it’s naïve. It would be lovely to go back.”
David was fond of performing live since childhood. He seemed to also have got the genes from his mother. He then joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts or RADA as it is popularly known as to study drama and theater. David has made his theatrical debut in the year 1977 with stage musicals. He did roles in Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess, and Cats. His breakthrough role came when he was selected to be cast as Enjolras in the stage version of Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables.
Having performed so well in this role of Enjolras, David soon got more major offers and appeared in significant roles in TV in The Trojan Horse, Poldark, and The Merchant of Venice. David has played leading roles at the Royal National Theater and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
David has done many musical and classic roles and has won accolades for his natural and melodious acting. David has played numerous and varied roles and has performed all of them with ease and well. He performed in The Woman in White at the Palace Theatre. At the Royal Albert Hall, Show Boat was staged and David Burt was also a part of this great show.
In 2007, David played a prison officer in Bad Girls: The Musical and this was performed at Garrick Theater in London’s West End. In 2008, he acted in The Last South.
