David was under investigation for “battery against cohabitant” and “assault” in 2003. He has also been arrested and later released on $10000 bond after pleading guilty.
Additionally, he was put on probation for three years. Also, he was charged with violence against Shannon to which he admitted.

“There was no abuse, no physical anything … We had an argument that was resolved very quickly afterward. I just thought that if I called the police, the fight would end. We’ve moved on; it’s over and done.”
