Jessica Seinfeld’s birthday
American author and philanthropist Jessica Seinfeld was born on 12 September 1971 in a middle-class family. Yesterday was her birthday and she turns 46 this year. Jessica Seinfeld has enjoyed her birthday and it was a merry and fun-filled one; as can be revealed from her Instagram post in which she has uploaded a totally decked-up doll picture and captioned it as:
“Thank you for a great birthday, friends, family, everyone.”
She took to Instagram to thank all her friends and family for making the day a wonderful one! She has not yet disclosed much on her Instagram as to how she had enjoyed the great day. But way back in 2014, she and her soul sister Kelly Ripa were together for Jessica Seinfeld’s birthday. They had a wonderful party with birthday cake and a feast.
Jessica Seinfeld’s family life
Jessica Seinfeld is the wife of American popular comedian Jerry Seinfeld. The couple has three children; Sascha (born 7 November 2000), Julian Kal (born 1 March 2003), and Shepherd Kellen (born 22 August 2005). She launched her first cookbook titled ‘Deceptively Delicious’ 7 January 2008. It included all the recipes of foods in which fruits and vegetables could be given in a hidden form to children. It was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show and became New York’s best seller book. In October 2010, Jessica released her second cookbook titled ‘Double Delicious! Good, Simple Food for Busy, Complicated Lives!’.
It provided a healthy twist to traditional recipes. Her third cookbook was released in 2013. ‘The Can’t Cook Book’ contained recipes which even those afraid of cooking can make. ‘Food Swings’ was released recently in 2017. The last book has 125 recipes which range from the super healthy to the super indulgent type.
Jessica likes cooking for her family and her favorite recipe is one which her husband and kids enjoy and eat without complaints. She said that her kids are not much into cooking and besides, she herself is a control freak and likes to be in the kitchen alone. Jessica had cooked Chicken parmesan during their first date and Jerry had relished the dish. Jessica also has her own charitable Foundation called as Baby Buggy which is New York-based. This organization donates essential items to needy families in New York City.
Jessica had her set of controversies in life. She had preferred to not answer any allegations made against her, though her husband used to intermittently clarify their side of the story.
Jessica was initially married to Eric Nederlander in June 1998. Eric is a theatrical producer and son of theater owner Robert Nederlander. She returned from her Italian honeymoon with Eric but left him soon after. Eric filed for divorce in October 1998. Soon, Jessica became close to Jerry Seinfeld whom she had supposedly met at a gym. She got engaged to Jerry in November 1999 and tied the knot on 25 December 1999. Her side of the tale goes as follows:
“I met Jerry at the end of what was the most difficult period of my life. I had just made a painful decision to dissolve a five-year relationship that began when I was 21 and culminated in a brief marriage. Jerry was neither the cause nor the effect of the breakup, but his friendship gave me strength and resilience at a time of desperate need, and it has formed the basis for my happiness in the years that have followed.”
After her first cookbook release, she was accused of copyright infringement by author Missy Chase Lapine. Jessica however answered that the idea of hiding pureed vegetables into foods for children was an old one and neither authors have invented it. Jessica was also said to have gifted Oprah Winfrey heel shoes worth 16000 to 20000 dollars.
