American actress Alicia Silverstone was born on October 4, 1976 to British parents. She was born in San Francisco and was raised in the nearby town of Hillsborough. Before becoming an actress, Silverstone was a child model who appeared in television commercials. Silverstone started her acting career in the early 1990’s. Her first television show appearance was in an episode of ‘The Wonder Years’ in 1992. Silverstone made her film debut in the 1993 thriller ‘The Crush’ where she played the role of Darian/Adrian Forrester. Two years later, in 1995, Silverstone appeared as the ditzy schoolgirl Cher Horowitz in ‘Clueless.’ This turned out to be one of Silverstone’s most popular works and also one of the most iconic films from that era. Silverstone became one of the most popular actresses from the ’90s. She continued to gain success in more films like ‘The Babysitter,’ ‘Batman & Robin’ and ‘Blast from the Past.’ More recently, Silverstone has appeared in films such as ‘Who Gets the Dog?’ ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul,’ and ‘The Tribes of Palos Verdes.’ Silverstone married her longtime boyfriend Christopher Jarecki in 2005. The couple welcomed their son in 2011. However, it was just recently reported that Silverstone and Jarecki have parted ways. This 2018, Silverstone is set to star in a new film called ‘Book Club and a new series entitled ‘American Woman.’
