Personal lives are hard to keep within themselves in Hollywood. Among all odds actor, Michael Ealy has managed to do so. The major events of his life like his marriages and his children are kept secret. Fans have not even seen pictures of his children. But recently, the sky blue-eyed actor uploaded a picture of him with his wife Khatira Rafiqzada on Instagram with a simple caption: #NoMuslimBan.
Affected by The Travel Ban
In 2017, Donald Trump imposed a seven-country travel ban into the United States targeted for the Muslim population. Ealy seems to be greatly affected and is making a stand against it, like many other Americans. In fact, Ealy’s wife Khatira Rafiqzada is from Afghanistan.
Michael has always been secretive with his personal life. He explains in a 2014 interview:
“I don’t live my life in a social way. I don’t put everything out on social media. I don’t live that reality lifestyle. At the same time, I’ve always been private, ever since I was in high school. Like, people think, ‘Oh, you’re in Hollywood,’ I’m like, ‘No, no.’ If you knew me in high school, you knew. I learned then, if you want something to work, if it means that much to you, keep it to yourself.”

Ealy and Khatira Rafiqzada tied the knot in October 2012 in a private and low profile ceremony. They had dated for 4 years prior to tying the knot. When the fans came to know about his marriage in December, his representatives told the People magazine:
“Michael has always been a private guy, and he wanted to enjoy his time as a newlywed with his wife privately. Now that some time has passed and the holidays are here, he wanted to share the news with his fans that he is married and very happy.”
After a year and a half, he revealed that he had celebrated his first father’s day! The fans had no idea he was well into fatherhood. His newborn son was named Elijah Rakim.
And on November 2016, he and his wife had welcomed a second child- a baby girl. The fans flooded them with congratulations and love. He shared his experience of having a daughter:
“I just discovered a whole new love. I’ve never ever felt this way before. I was wondering if I could love another child as much as I love my son. And what I realized, within hours of my daughter being born, not only do I love her just as much…if not more. It’s a special kind of protective love. Within two hours, I understood your emotions at your daughter’s wedding.”
