Celebrities with confidence that precedes physical appearance!
Breast sagging is a natural and common occurrence with women, and no matter how much we try, it just can’t be avoided. Instead of despairing at the inevitability of sagging, let’s take a more positive outlook like these celebrities. Just because our chests are droopy doesn’t mean our confidence should be downtrodden as well.
Common causes of saggy breasts
To eliminate the negative stigma on saggy breasts, we need to understand that it happens naturally and is usually caused by the following:
Gravity works in keeping us grounded and stops us from floating aimlessly in space; unfortunately, it also pulls our breasts down. Because of gravity, the ligaments that lift and support our breasts are strained and stretched downwards.
Genes also play an essential role in the state of one’s breast. If many in the family have small and droopy boobs, chances are, it will be inherited.
We all age and, sadly, sagging is a normal part of aging. Everything goes in a downward direction, such as our posture and skin elasticity.
The bigger and heavier one’s boobs are, the higher the likelihood it will sag or droop. Smaller breasts tend to hold their shape and perkiness better.
Body Mass Index
Women with larger frames usually have bigger breasts, which means more chances of drooping compared to petite women.
Weight loss or gain
Any drastic changes in weight can also change the shape of the breasts and can stretch or shrink the skin surrounding it.
One significant factor that changes the appearance or state of a woman’s breasts is pregnancy. Breasts undergo many transformations during the period and don’t usually go back to their initial state pre-pregnancy.
Improper exercise habits
Exercising without a sports bra puts extra strain on the breast ligaments, which could lead to sagging.
The Struggle Is Real For Women With Saggy Breasts
Have you ever rolled over to one side while lying down, and 60% of your boobs fell towards your armpit? For those who could relate, below are some of the ever-so-common struggles women with saggy breasts experience. Because we’ve been there and we all need a little camaraderie in life.
“No more backless anything…ever”
You just can’t step out of the house without a push-up bra or any form of support for your breasts. You just can’t. You’ve already accepted the fact that backless dresses or tops were created without you in mind. You have a gorgeous back, and want to show it off? But your front side would just not cooperate; hence “bye-bye backless anything.”
“Bathing suit shopping is a depressing effort”
Going bathing shopping only brings despair to women with droopy boobs. Nothing seems to work or fit you perfectly. One is too small, and your boobs pop out, one has too much provision for a chest, so it looks “unfilled” while another looks just about right but doesn’t offer the proper support, so you end up jiggly in that area, or you found one that caters to your chest but is too tight and squeezes the life out of you. Maybe we could find one at the grandma swimwear section?
“Weight loss brings unneeded anxiety”
Boobs are mainly comprised of fat, tissue, and ligaments. When we lose weight, we want to lose fat. Unfortunately, this means losing fat from our boobs as well. This leaves us with the question we never thought we’d ask: “To lose fat or not to lose fat?”
“Intimacy makes you self-conscious”
You look great during the date. Everything is in place. Then comes the sexual intimacy part, and you realize that once the bra comes off, there’s no turning back (there’s only one direction, and that’s down). More often than not, the guy is too engrossed with other things to notice (hopefully!)
8 Celebrities Spill The Tea About Their Boobs
We all get a little dose of reassurance and comfort when we hear about famous people going through relatable issues. It just goes to show that they are human too and experience the same things we do, like saggy breasts. Without further ado, below are eight celebrities who don’t mind their saggy boobs at all.

The blogger, American model, and makeup artist are all about confidence amidst the haters. Tess posted a photo of herself on Twitter and captioned it, “Shoutout to the girls that have breasts that aren’t ‘perky’ and naturally point down like mine. I’m still bomb as f*ck, & you are too.”
In 2014, the iconic “Gamora” of the Guardians of the Galaxy told Lucky, “When I hear men say, ‘I don’t want droopy breasts,’ I think, I’m sorry, you’re not really a man. A man likes a woman as she is.” Preach, girl!
Katy Perry has big boobs, we all know that. But that also means they have more mass compared to the normal-sized ones, so gravity is always at work. She confirmed just that when she told GQ, “I lay on my back one night and looked down at my feet, and I prayed to God. I said, ‘God, will you please let me have boobs so big that I can’t see my feet when I’m lying down?’ God answered my prayers. I had no clue they would fall into my armpits eventually.”

Being imperfectly perfect gives Kate Winslet power and confidence. We should all acquire the same perspective. Kate told The Sun, “I don’t have perfect boobs, I don’t have zero cellulite — of course I don’t — and I’m curvy. If that is something that makes women feel empowered in any way, that’s great.”

Used to the spotlight and public criticisms, the Kardashians are women who use the influence to get certain messages across such as the condition of their breasts. Kourtney, for example, told Nightline, “I have had breast implants, but it’s so funny ’cause it’s not a secret, I could care less. Like my boobs have, like, tripled since breastfeeding. Trust me, honey, if I take this bra off, you will tell me I need to get them done.”

Lizzo puts things into perspective when she posts boob-filled pictures and adds the hashtag “sexualnotsexualized.” She is implying that even if her non-perky boobs don’t fit the status quo, they are still sexual but not sexualized.

“Low-slung tits” was what Diane Keaton tagged it as. The American actress, director, producer, and businesswoman wrote in her memoir. “Let’s Just Say It Wasn’t Pretty,” I’d never thought of bras as anything but a necessity one had to address. At a party recently, I reminisced with my old friend Elliott Gould, who said, ‘Oh, remember you from the seventies – you had those low-slung tits.’”
Tips to Prevent Breast Sagging
While it can’t be avoided entirely, we ladies could still exert some effort in slowing down or preventing the sagging of our boobs.
1. Practice good posture
We need to fight gravity on this one. By slouching or practicing poor posture, we basically give in to gravity and let our chests hang even lower. Standing or sitting in a good posture immediately pulls up our breasts and gives it more support from dragging down. Good posture also gives us a natural lift.
2. Maintain a healthy weight
As mentioned early, weight loss or gain affects the skin elasticity and condition of our breasts. Therefore, staying within a healthy weight range and getting enough exercise helps in the endeavor.
3. Drink plenty of water
Water keeps the skin healthy and hydrated, which means the preservation of skin elasticity, even in the chest area.
